Dr Rachel Baigel – GP with a Special Interest in Allergy and Immunology
I am a dedicated GP with a special interest in allergy, committed to providing holistic, patient-centred care for individuals of all ages facing allergic concerns. In addition to my GP practice, I run two weekly NHS allergy and asthma clinics, helping patients manage conditions like food allergies, eczema, asthma, hay fever, and dust mite allergies.
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Allergy and Immunology (expected June 2025), I stay at the forefront of the field by actively engaging with the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) and contributing to the National Allergy Strategy Group. These roles allow me to participate in national initiatives to improve respiratory health and allergy care.
Allergic conditions often affect not only physical health but also emotional well-being and family life. My approach is to consider allergies in the broader context of lifestyle and environment. Whether managing eczema, asthma, or hay fever, I focus on integrating care to help patients achieve their fullest and healthiest lives.
